Dr. Ming Hui Chen's contributions to the health care community on the community level and the national level are wide ranging.

 

Dr. Chen has been awarded the Sandra J. Lewis Leadership Fellowship for Mid-Career Women from the American College of Cardiology and has  been a Finalist in the New England Women’s Leadership Award. She is currently a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and also a member of the ACC Cardio-Oncology Leadership Council. 

 

Dr Chen's contributions to the Boston Healthcare community especially to those in low resource setting and non-English speaking pediatric and adult patients were recognized when she was named by the Boston Business Journal as one of “40 individuals under 40” who had significantly improved the city of Boston. Locally, Dr. Chen leads several Boston Children’s Hospital efforts on diversity, equity, and inclusion.  She currently serving as the co-president of the Asian Pacific Island Collaborative Employee Resource Group at Boston Children’s Hospital.
